Stamina is important for windy golf

Experiencing windy conditions over the holidays? In the previous weeks we’ve talked about swing technique, but do remember that walking 18 holes in the wind,
and playing in the wind, takes more out of your body. You need to be a little fitter. Invest a little time in your core. Even a few “planks” each morning
will strengthen your core muscles and possibly help tighten some of your stomach.

If you can’t get to the gym, then along with your plank, do a few exercises that utilize your own body weight to strengthen your Glutes,
Quads, and Hamstrings. It’s probably 15 minutes, early in the morning, invested in easy exercise that improves everything, including your golf.

Take your golf fitness more seriously

For some, the holidays will present us with the opportunity to play exceptional courses, several days a week. We want to encourage that.
Invest a little time getting fitter, so you not only get the enjoyment, you experience better golf shots.
We have advice to give to anyone who’s interested in fitness for golf.
